Hello Fashionistas (and Fashionisters, if you're reading)!
I've got big news about small business!
But first I want to know, would you like your credit card company to give you $25 just for much needed retail therapy?
Answer: Yes.
Stupid question?: Yes.
Want to know more?: Yes
Ok.
So, let's say you have an American Express card (because that's all you need to participate) and you go out to an American Express registered small business (like Circa Vintage) and spend at least $25, American Express will credit you $25 to your statement!
YOU MUST ENROLL YOUR CARD FIRST! PLEASE ENROLL YOUR CARD OR THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU $25 WHEN YOU SHOP A SMALL BUSINESS! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!

Spartina 449 has arrived!
Hello lovely!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but I can assure you, Circa Vintage has been surprisingly busy this summer!
I am very please to announce a retail line that we are currently carrying. Perhaps some of you fashionistas out there have heard of Spartina 449. It is a deluxe line of handbags crafted out of high quality leather that trims a gorgeously printed, stain resistant linen. They kind of make me think of Pucci, Lilly Pulitzer, and Vera Bradley all put together, but there's really nothing quite like them. We have 5 styles of prints in stock: Camellia, Mount Carmel, Island Girl, Vintage Pink, and my favorite, Isabelle Vine (pictured below)
The Spartina line features that unmistakable mermaid logo. If you take home a Spartina Catch-All Tote (pictured) the mermaid is featured in stitched leather on a side pouch. These handbags are not only whimsical and stylish, they are perfect for travel! As someone who travels quite frequently, I can tell you these handbags, with all their glorious pockets and pouches are sure to be your next travel bag.
The bags range from $15 to $200, so come in and get some, while supplies last!
Already have a Spartina bag? Comment below and tell us why you love it!
Stay Glamorous!

Zou Bisou Bisou!
So, we are now two episodes into the AMC's emmy award winning hit series, Mad Men.
This much is certain, Don is still incredibly sexy, Betty has starting eating more than just merlot for dinner, Joan is almost as good at being a mom as she was a running SCDP, Roger hates Pete, Pete hates Roger, Harry is oblivious, Peggy's hair looks increasingly better, and Megan is GORGEOUS!
But what most interests me about the show (besides the phenomenal writing, of course) is the costumes! Fashion plays such a huge part in Mad Men, that it's influence has spilled over into present day. And who could blame us? I mean, pencil skirts beat the pants off of mini skirts all day long.
Banana Republic celebrated with a second featured series of Mad Men inspired apparel. I am proud to say that I, in fact, own 3 pieces from the featured line, including the Joan-esque tie collar blouse in purple, the leopard trench coat, and the Joan dress in beige with light green polka-dot waist sash. I loved the latter dress so much, that I bought it a full size smaller (the dress is a 0, I wear a 2) because it was the last one left. I can't breathe in it, and sitting down is an adventure, but let's be honest, it's to die for.
If you love the 1960's, but aren't ready to bust out a retro frock, my advice is to take a small piece of vintage and incorporate it into an outfit you've worn before. You will be pleasantly surprised how it will change the look yet not overwhelm it. Use pieces like a scarf (take notes from Betty), or a fabulous vintage broach (Joan), or if your a little more adventurous, try a toque or fascinator hat. Enamel jewelry and borealis crystal also make for fine accents.
Right now, I'm loving the season's use of prints (like Trudy's dress at Don's surprise party). Emilio
Pucci is one of my all time favorite designers and I can't wait to see if the Costuming Dept. incorporates that trend into the show.
I also enjoy the use of color blocking (seen mostly on Peggy and Megan). The color block style is coming back in a full on revival and I couldn't be happier. Twiggy herself has a line out with HSN and uses the tried and true color block on many of her timeless pieces. And color blocking, when done correctly, can be magically slimming.
Post a response on how you are enjoying season 5 of Mad Men, and I'd love for you to share photos of your 1960's inspired looks.

Today I would like to share with you the newest addition to the online store and my current pick of the week.
Often people will ask me if I had to pick a favorite item in the store what would it be, and those of you whom have visited the boutique know there are so many wonderful things to choose from. But this week, it's this little beauty...
This beautiful Louis Vuitton Epi Leather Handbag is a feast for the eyes! I see it glowing in it's lit case like pastry in a bakery window. Rich and decadent like layers of whipped cream covering a cake and I just want to eat it! But don't let it's angelic appearance fool you, Epi Leather handbags are some of the toughest and more durable on earth! And the quality and tradition that comes with a Louis Vuitton speaks for itself, am I right ladies?
Made in France, this bag is from July 2008. It has the original lock and 2 keys. It is in near perfect condition with the small exception of some light marks on the inside pocket. It's silver hardware gives it a youthful look. This bag is sure to turn heads with it's classic, sophisticated style.
Louis Vuitton bags never last very long in Circa Vintage, they are always snatched right up by some lucky buyer. This one is fresh as the first day of spring so seize the opportunity to make it yours today (FYI, I will be so jealous, but happy you have given it a loving home). This lovely is only $629
See how it smiles? So cute! What's not to love?
Pair it with a navy day dress for a nautical inspired look, or a coral top and jeans with cork wedges for a casual spring look. This also compliments any Lilly Pulitzer piece effortlessly.
Email me if you would like to see additional photos, or stop by to have a look.

Welcome to the new blog!
Circa Vintage has revamped and revved up it's blog for your reading pleasure!
Check back weekly for new posts on fashion, events, and the latest news from Circa Vintage, Palm Beach County's favorite vintage consignment boutique (as voted by PBPulse.com 2011).
Those of you who have visited our leopard clad boutique are well aware that we offer so much more than fabulous vintage pieces. We also have an endless variety of current fashions and custom lovelies that fit you and your life. Circa Vintage does not have sales clerks, we have stylists that offer their expertise and can style you head to toe for any event.
Looking for a specific piece? If we don't have it, we will find it, if we can't find it, we can make it. Ask to be added to our Wish List and we will contact you as soon as that special item arrives in our boutique. Call ahead and give us your size and and style you are looking for and we will pull items in advance to have ready when you walk in the door.
We have dressed celebrities, rockstars, socialites, and have worked with film and television in California. Our apparel has appeared at many events including the Kentucky Derby, The Academy Awards, Emmy Award winning television programs, Project Runway All Stars, and high end fashion magazines in Russia.
This summer, we look forward to the addition of our very own exclusive custom line, Copy-Catz. Modern fabrics meets vintage patterns to create a vintage inspired ensemble you can rock any day of the week. This line is exclusive to Circa Vintage, Tequesta, FL.
The Kentucky Derby is just around the bend, so get your custom hat orders in and our very own in house milliner, Carol Wright, will custom create a design worthy of Churchill Downs.
This coming September we will hit our 3rd Birthday, but we are just getting started. We hope to see you at the store and on the runway of life in the chic lane at Circa Vintage!
Have a Glamorous Day!
